Platform

Your compliance file, prepared before you open it

Finetica is a workpaper platform for Australian accounting practices. It pulls the client's ledger and ATO information, builds the workpapers the entity needs, tests them, and hands your team a file that is ready for review.

The workflow

From connection to sign-off

Connect once

Link the client's Xero organisation and use your practice's existing ATO authorisation. Entities, the chart of accounts and opening balances come through automatically.

Generate the workbook

Pick the financial year. Finetica selects the workpapers relevant to that entity, populates them from source, and cross-references balances between papers.

Read the exceptions

Each paper tests itself and flags variances, unmatched items and movements outside threshold. Your team starts at the problems instead of hunting for them.

Query, conclude, sign off

Raise queries to the client, attach the evidence, record your conclusion and sign off. Notes and history stay with the workpaper permanently.

Integrations

Fully integrated with Xero and the ATO

Finetica connects directly to Xero and, through the ATO authorisation your practice already holds, to the ATO. The data your workpapers depend on arrives on its own.

  • Ledger data from Xero. Trial balance, chart of accounts, contacts, transactions and asset registers.
  • Account information from the ATO. Activity statement account movements, so the ATO account reconciles to the ledger without a manual statement.
  • Documents you upload. Bank statements, loan statements and bills are read and matched to the right schedule.
  • Within your authority. Finetica acts only on the client authorisations your practice already holds — it does not create or replace them.

Customer data hosted in Australia.

Activity and change logging.

Security & control

Built for the data it holds

Client financial information deserves more than a login page. Access is scoped per user and per client, connections are encrypted, and every material action is logged against the person who took it.

You remain the accountant. Finetica prepares and tests the file; the professional judgement, the review and the lodgement stay with your practice.
